Inspite of the fact that child labor is a predominant scenario in many Indian factories and industries, we, Jaipur rugs, feel proud to say that we manufacture our carpets and rugs without taking any child labor.

As a socially responsible organization, Jaipur Rugs is against child labor. Our company is trying to raise awareness and actions to strengthen the laws and enforcement and protection for child workers. We take pride in declaring that only skilled adult workers craft our beautiful rugs.

We strongly favor compulsory basic education for all children. The organization feels that unless there is compulsory education for children, there will continue to be the problems of child labor as the children are bound to do something in absence of education.

In our efforts towards elimination of child labor problems and for the protection of child labors, some of the initiatives that Jaipur Rugs has taken are -

• We also offer our weavers financial stability, healthy working conditions, steady work, skill improvement training, so that they understand the problems of child labor.
